Sound like a good fella, I had my perch done already by my tuner but if I was in the area.....I would be down to throw a cold one back at least. :)

Might wanna make sure to let the guys know they'll need to get a new FORD replacement lower shock bolt to cover your ass if anything were to transpire with them on the roads. The shock bolts stretch to tq. Specs and shouldn't be re-used as it was mentioned before on the sites. I would at least pass this info.

Very good info SwampKing. I will keep that in mind when I go to top perch.

When I do the mid perch I leave the strut assembly on the truck. I've done a couple trucks already and it takes a couple hours from start to finish with minor BS'ing inbetween lol.

There's gotta be someone in the WA state area that needs this done.

I don't think it's justifiable paying a shop anywhere from $250-$400 just for a mid perch adjustment. That's why I'm offering it for free. Also it will give you a chance to get more familiar with your truck.

Wow, I may have made the tour down there if I had've caught this post...

Mines in the dealer now getting it done - almost $600 labour, $150 for an alignment, and I just voided the warranty for the entire truck suspension system. Gotta love Canada...

They did replace the tie-rod I broke under warranty - good thing I broke it first!
Now I know not to try and keep up with Strafe until I have some of his mods...

Wow $600, well that's about what shops are charging around here. BTW if you have any problems with your warranty after the adjustment let me know and I'll talk to my service manager down here. He has already replaced a friends front shock under warranty and he was already at mid perch.

Not to many broken tie rods on here. Got any details or pictures?
(yes, this is a thread hijacking)
