-I have an iPhone 4S and when I picked up my 2013 SCREW about 4 months ago it was synced to the truck by the salesperson with no problems or issues.
-Two days ago on the way to work MFT tried the whole time to connect to my phone. It never did connect and just did the circle spinney think thing the whole time.
-I was able to sync my phone to my girlfriends focus with no issues whatsoever.
-I have seen the other two threads about not syncing but mine appears different.
-MFT is the most current and up to date, as well as my phone being all up to date.
-I have deleted every single app that I do not need and use
-I have tried every combination of deleting phone from truck, searching again, deleting the truck from the phone, starting driving and turning on and off both truck and phone, Bluetooth on and off.
-At this point MFT says "searching for phone" and will not. As well my phone cannot find the truck to make link up.

Anyone have this issue in the past? I assume I will have to take it to the stealership but I would clearly like to avoid that if I could. Any ideas other than get rid of the Apple which I cannot wait to and will when the Galaxy S5 comes out in November.

Yep. Unpair your phone from the truck. Unpair the truck from the phone. Disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and then try. That worked for a guy I know when his MFT got buggy. I believe it does a soft reset.

Oh and good luck with an S5 in November, the S4 just came out late spring, it'll be at least March, probably April before the S5 is out.

Thanks fellas I had actually thought about disconnecting the battery but thought it couldn't be that. I mean "unplug and restart" seems to be the answer for everything right! When your computer craps out, router hits it etc. etc. Too funny but I will try it when I get up tomorrow and let you know how it works.

Just a rumor I heard about the S5 I can wish though!

The old "Have you tried unplugging it and plugging it back in again?" :lol2:

alright, well team I disconnected the battery all to no avail. Again afterwards I tried every combination of pairing phone, pairing truck, un-pairing all the like, turning on and off phone and truck. I guess I need to go to the stealership. Really don't want to but I suppose its my last option.
