can anyone confirm what build date they started the metal oil pan? Looking at an 18 and i want to make sure it has it, but its 4 hours away..

My 18 has an aluminum oil pan, build date on the door says 9/18. I know this is pretty new but I almost didn't buy a Raptor because of the plastic pan. I was jumping for joy when I had it on the lift today and saw it was not plastic.

Just did a search on this yesterday. Looked like Feb 2018 and later models have the metal pans and plugs.

I think the cutoff is March, actually. My truck was built on 2/24 and has the plastic oil pan.

i have the plastic, no leak , but thats sucks , it is an 18 though

My March 02, 2018 build is metal panned.

I think the cut over date is 2/26/18, but that comes from a parts list, not anything more official.
