What in the world is an "aero turbine muffler?" That's got to be marketing hype, right? I mean, there can't be a turbine or impeller inside the muffler.

Ya and I think Turbo mufflers actually have Turbo parts in them... Don't they!
It might sound cool if they did though, Hype or not.

typically the optimal diameter of the pipe is based on HP output. for 300-400hp 2.5" is plenty.

Right, I really have ZERO complaints about the performance or noise from teh stock system, hence why I think i might just do a cutout to :flipthebird: with people. But a smaller muffler would be nice, the stock one is a battleship.

I run single 3.5" (stock 6 liter psd tail pipe) with an aero turbine muffler and it works really well... Loud, but works awesome. 4" wouldn't be bad at all.

would like to hear it. this is the muffler I originally wanted for my 7.3 diesel but just strait piped it

Pull your lobes out dude. What's up with the single tip R side exhaust or the under the bumper?

Call me old school, that's fine. I can deal with the twin tips out the rh side, but anything less, I'm out.

I'll get a sound clip soon. I've been running them for years on the race car and had a 5" one on my 6.4. Straight through but not glass pack sounding.
