I don't get the size issue nor the imagining methods being used. All I do is upload a picture to photobucket and copy/paste URL link and my pictures come out great. I've never had to set a size setting and have been doing this for 5+ years. I wonder if this is a personal setting option in your SVTO user account?

If you've been using the same camera for the past 5 years then you haven't had a re-sizing issue since your camera is probably a low pixel count unit meaning the pics won't be very high resolution and will be smaller in size. Get yourself a camera with a buncha megapixels (newer ones are 8-10+) and you'll be dealing with re-sizing.

Glad to see this thread hasn't been "hijacked" :D

still lost!!!!!!!!

that sound all fine and dandy but i am not getting all of that after clicking the picture graphic. all i am getting is the option to upload a URL and I don't know how to do that at all. I own a MAC and have only had it for a little while but you would think that adding pics to a post would be a lot easier than that huh? can someone help me out with this, I'm just not getting it.:shakehead:

The pictures need to be hosted (uploaded and residing) on the web someplace. I use Photobucket.com - they provide a free photo-hosting service that gives you the opportunity to upload your pics into albums (you could have an album for each set of Raptor offroading trips, etc.).

Your pics need to be uploaded to an online website like Photobucket. You then get the URL for each of your pics (think of URL as a picture's "address" or location on the internet) whic you then stick in between this code -->

If you want to email me your pics I'll gladly upload them to my Photobucket account and email you back the URLs for each picture.

There is another way to upload that you may find simpler or more complicated and that's to upload them to the post you're trying to put your pictures into. It's a little bit confusing and not easy for me to explain here but I'm sure Jason (BigJ) has already done that as a tutorial on the forum.

Of course there's another issue that could affect your ability to do that and that's the size of the pictures (the file size). If you're using a high-pixel count camera and you haven't changed the settings on it to take smaller size pics then it could be the large file size that is causing problems for you.

Let me know if I can help you. PM me.
