I was on the phone with a guy about wrapping my raptor completely matte black. I have the hood decal on and the side bed graphic decals. The guy I am talking too says that they will still show up even with the vehicle wrap on the truck. But i am not sure, any insight?

It will show up but it will look awesome, especially the bedsides as it will create shadows and wait till its dirty ! I was specifically looking in to putting on graphics prior to a wrap just for this look. Check out yukon joes night rator build for pics of this.

I install vinyl and have wrapped vehicles before. Depending on the products material depends on how much it will show through. It will more than likely show through and like CP Raptor said it will probably look pretty cool around the mud graphics. You could always ask them to provide a small sample to put on and see how it looks. If you don't like it ask them to include the removal in your install.

The only possible issue i see with this is removing the top wrap. Does anyone know if it would damage the pre-existing graphics?

I have stickers under my wrap to give it the embossed look. I really like it.

And as mentioned above. If you remove the wrap , the graphics will be removed with it.

Here is an example

You can only really see it when you get close to it. Also when it's clean it's hardly visible.

Now note. That sticker was printed over three times to give it that look. The outline of the OEM graphics will be less.

Here is a wrap that i did for a buddies car. The same 3m vinyl was used for the embossing and the wrap so if a wrap is applied over the oem decals it will look like this.

You can see that in this picture it's only visible at certain angles and light.
