Marker lights into strobes

Has any one ever thought about turning the marker lights into Amber strobe warning lights? I've been trying to figure out how to wire an interrupter/ strobe function to an up fitter switch.

using a Show me flasher may work. You may have to add a diode and or a relay to get it to work right. Anyone have a broken one ( pin broken but the light works , or one off a broken Grill) they can lend me to test?
