Just FYI "cat back" is a generic term meaning exhaust system from the catalytic converters back to the tips. I think some people might be confusing this with "glasspack" which is a straight-thru muffler with fiberglass in it (this is what the Magnapack is).

I'm not sure how you guys have no drone... mine is loud as hell. Probably because it dumps just barely behind the rear seat inside the frame.

I just installed the Magnaflow XL (Round) # 13743 which is a straight through 3" muffler as well. Yes, very aggressive tone and pretty noticeable drone when the engine is being lugged. I even kept the OEM resonator installed. My exhaust dumps / turns down under the bed just before the axle.

The only problem I have with the new muffler is when you really get on it. The muffler or exhaust creates a whistling sound, like the muffler is blowing air as well as exhaust. My straight through diesel muffler does the same thing. I think it is because the diameter of muffler, too big?, or there is not enough back pressure, which causes it to flow too good, if that's even possible.
