Heys guys , just wanted to get some opinions for a Magnaflow muffler install this Friday , I think most use the 18'' cat back muffler , but wondered if the 14'' had allot more drone if any ???? also sticking with the stock dual 2.25 tail pipes . Dont feel like watching chrome tips just chip away with every rock hitting them. Installing Airaid CAI as well ! :smoke2:

Huh. My AIRAID intake is only noticeable at the shift points, and only then if I'm on the gas. I used the edge gasket on all four sides, though.

When I replace the factory muffler I'm going to go with the Magnaflow #12388. It's the dual outlet 24 inch model, which ought to weld right up where the factory muffler is with no additional modification necessary. It won't have any more backpressure than a shorter Magnaflow, and it'll be drone-proof.
