Just tried to hook mine up to a pair of Duallys, and unfortunately was unsuccessful.
I followed the diagram in the instructions and upon plugging it inline, the unit got extremely hot after ~5 seconds and now does not work. Not sure what the problem is.
On the power side of the unit, its spliced inline with the harness wires coming off the battery, and on the LED side, its spliced inline with the wires going to the Duallys. Is that right?

Did you run the power and ground through the module?

Not to take anything away from M&R, but be careful with these controllers.

I ordered some lights from another vendor that came with this controller. The control unit was DOA. I bought another one out of my own pocket off amazon. Amazon.com: Mini LED Controller Dimmer with RF Wireless Remote Control DC 5~24V 12A R106: Musical Instruments It has ok reviews for a reason.

So far it has worked and is a neat toy, but after the headache of the install, quality of product, and inability to return to stock, I would have rather not done this mod.

How come the lights can't go back to stock?

I'm guessing it's just because your cutting the line and it's modified after that. Install doesn't include bolt on bolt off back to stock

if the lights you want to control are wired to the upfitter, shouldn't you be wiring these in line up near the upfitter switches in the cab?
