A couple vendors here have asked me about a table top review, comparing all three options in a given size. Nothing has come of it yet, but like I told them I'm willing to help if I can.

To be the most informative to everyone, I'd think the comparison would need to be of one new bar from each manufacturer (on loan), of the same size and of the same general 'series'. What I mean by that is there's no point in comparing one 40" to another 40" when the first is designed for our purposes and the second is designed to blow up the moon. I'd put all three on the table, take tons of comparo pics, give the specs and my personal thoughts, then take them out into the dark and turn them on one by one, taking a picture of how/what they light up. Then, let you guys decide from there.

Don't forget beam pattern. All spot, all flood, or combo.

Would love to see the results of this!

I toured Rigid Industries a few weeks ago when I was down in Mesa. They have a good setup and are submerging all the lights now before they go out the door to make sure they don't leak. From what I could tell they are improving quality control and of course are maintaining their great customer service.

I appreciate all the comments and feedback! I'll most likely be going with vision x or rigid now that I know about warranty. Granted the price is more but it sounds like through customer service and life time warranty you get what you pay for.
