I bought a certified pre owned 2020 raptor with 72k miles back in April 2023. After reading the forums, I made sure I purchased an extended warranty. A few thousand miles after buying it they replaced cam phasers at around 78k, then low oil pressure light came on during hard acceleration a few months later. When that happened no acceleration, limped it to the dealer. The dealer couldn’t find anything in the ECU after the truck had been sitting, they checked fluids and said nothing was showing up. I still had some hesitation issues, after that so I had the dealer replace the original battery, the Spark plugs and coils, to hopefully resolve the issue. Yesterday I was driving back from a 2-3 hour trip, most of it highway. I had to slow down after someone cut me off, then when I went to reaccelerate of course the transmission hesitated and it kind of stuttered and then loss of power and the low oil pressure light came on again. Now it has a very loud knocking/clicking noise. It’s loud at idle and gets even louder when revving the engine. It’s embarrassingly loud and sounds like something is very wrong with it. Just dropped it off at the dealer, alll the service drive just kept looking over at how loud the noise was with my truck. Anyone have a video of what a blown engine sounds like?
