FRF,

My '19 is a year old and has ~ 3,300 miles on it. I know, I know ...

I switched to full synthetic after my imaginary 'break-in' at 1,000 miles and am sticking to six-month oil changes otherwise.

Does this time-based schedule look reasonable - guessing on the analog to mileage intervals:

2nd anniversary:
- Brake fluid
- Air filter?
- Cabin filter?

3rd anniversary:
- Coolant change
- Transmission fluid
- Differential fluid?

In addition to feedback on the above when should I change plugs?

Yep, I have a 2016 STI with 18 thousand miles on it, and I change the oil twice a year once in the Spring and once in the fall works out pretty good

If you’re on synthetic (as everyone should be), I don’t see the point of changing every 6 months. Synthetic does not break down.

My 2019 has 2500 miles btw.

Synthetic oils do break down with time, I run 5w30 in the sti which is the same oil in the Raptor 3.5 liter. It will get old and you will be able to tell which is why I usually change it based upon season temp changes once in spring and once in fall

I had a WRX STI for a while. Then I graduated high school. Gold rims and loud mufflers are fun at this point in your life.

You lose compression on #3 yet?

Thats funny, because my son had the Launch Edition with the gold wheels and he sold it when he graduated from college and started his first real job. He said it was too loud and flashy to drive into work everyday. ;)

I do under 5k on all my vehicles. Still change the oil on them all once a year. 2-years on the bikes tbh since they are inside and run an hour or more at a time most of the time. Cages do a bunch of short trips here in the burbs. 5-min to the store or work, 5-min back.

pointless to change your air filter...if you are not driving it...you are not filtering any dirty air...and air filter media does not break down with age.

Change the oil once a year and be done with it. brake fluid...every 3 years if you are not driving it.
