Dont know about Gen 2's but my 2011 has a shit load of 16ga wire and Very little 20 ga wire anywhere i've seen, interior or exterior. IF the new F150's have gone to 20 ga wire as their wire of least expense, I know where they learned about it.
first glance, 20gauge is used for the upfitter switch. IMO its too small. I ran less than half draw on a switch and the wire ran so hot that it started to melt the 12-14 gauge wire it was next to.

i may just tuck away the upfitter wiring and go with real wiring on a switch pro.

Looks like I'm late to this party but let's be honest, Toyota hasn't invested any real engineering dollars into their trucks since the 90s. And it shows.

When you look past the fake hood scooped hood scooped hood of the "current" Tundra, it's easy to see that the most exciting vehicle Toyota currently sells is the Camry. And that's really sad.

Fact.

The 5.7 V8 was pretty impressive when it came out in 2007. Factory blower option was nice too. But short there after they got passed up and never tried to catch up. Reminds me of the Subaru EJ25 STI engine. Back in 2004 it was a beast (to an extent) but here we are 14 years later and it's pretty much unchanged.

If I didn’t buy a R it would have been either a super duty or a tundra. And would have had to spend 10,000 to make it how I wanted .....

Nick and Fordloco...you are sending out misinformation.

Nick...the aux wire sizes are very small. See the cut and paste below.

Fordloco...The 2018 supplement has wrong color info.

This is from two other threads:

Adding to the knowledge base:

2018 Colors
Aux 1 - Green/White - 15A, 20 awg
Aux 2 - Brown/Blue - 15A, 20 awg
Aux 3 - Gray/Yellow - 10A, 20 awg
Aux 4 - Green/Yellow - 10A, 20 awg
Aux 5 - Brown/White - 5A, 22/24 awg
Aux 6 - Green/Orange - 5A, 22/24 awg
