This is what's stopping me from ordering one for my Scab. It looks like the screw model replaces the Sony sub under the small seat but in the scab it takes up all the room under the longer seat.

Can we not just open the Sony 10 and replace it with something better?

Anything I have ready says the little Sony is a decent little sub. It's the junk amp and enclosure holding it back.

Stock Sony is an 8" BTW. Some poly fill did help that one while I had it, but the kicker setup is 10x better

More good info for Screw install. Any reading I have done still says the Scab mounts behind the driver in the rear seat, therefor taking up the room of the tool kit and the jack.

Someone really needs to confirm the right model and throw one in the scab. I don't wanna guinea pig it lol.

Keep this thread updated. I'm 99.99% sure the scab model takes up all the room under the rear driver side seat.

I hope I'm wrong and it is a drop in replacement for the Sony single seat
