I had mine run out the side today with resonator and a Flowmaster 40 series. It had a Magnaflow dumped over rear axle and I just didn't like it. How we like things to sound is pretty subjective and I don't dig the Maganflow sound, especially dumped under the truck. I'm also into quieter these days as well. I took a shot that I might be decent and was pleased with the sound but will go back tomorrow and tweak the exit. The guy left the resonator to the muffler pipe about 6 inches too long and I caught it too late. That put the exit/tail pipe having to work around the spring hanger. Should be just in front and under that arch on the frame.

But if you want some sweet side exit exhaust sounds here ya go...

The good thing is, it’s not too hard to swap the resonator back in. I haven’t driven it yet, so I still don’t know if I’ll like it or not. I can’t tell much difference in person as of right now. I really figured it would be a lot louder, but I’m glad it’s not. I’ll, get some more videos of it in action soon.

My Xtreme kit is delivering today, have a shop scheduled to install tomorrow.

What are your thoughts on the loudness w/ the resonator delete in terms of pissing off my neighbors? That's my main concern for keeping the resonator on for now, till I move to a larger neighborhood.

I don't wake up really early, but will they hate me and possibly call the cops based on the loudness of the cold starts?

Really appreciate any feedback before I go ahead and have them do the install tmrw. Thanks!

People will definitely hear you. Honestly, I can’t tell a big difference between the two right now. Even with the resonator, it had a pretty good cold start bark going on until it idled down. Even though, I don’t believe you will get any complaints from it. Until about 3 years ago, I lived in a smaller subdivision and never had anyone complain. My truck had to live outside because my wife parked inside. My truck wasn’t the loudest in that neighborhood. My Powerstroke before that wasn’t much better. As for the Corsa, it will be very mild and mellow once it idles down. I think you’ll like it.

Hopefully I’ll get a chance to drive mine Monday. Can’t wait. Just starting it up and backing it out of the garage isn’t good enough even though it sounds good.

I did install my resonator delete a couple weeks back. However, been busy and never had (or took) the time to do a video of the sound while driving. I’ll try to get one posted up here in the next few days. It is louder. Wife definitely pointed that out. She swears there is drone in there when under load, but I don’t detect it. The cold startup is a bit louder in the cab but dies down quick. Overall, there’s just a little more bark to it when you mash the pedal. One day when the family was out in it, my 3 yr old sits rear passenger and wanted his window down. I couldn’t believe how good the exhaust sounded coming in through that window. Literally like an old school muscle car at low rpm’s. Especially when echoing off other vehicles. I even did some heavy towing recently and it sounded fine then and not noisy and annoying. Overall, it’s a cheap way to boost the sound of the Corsa Sport and just as easy to revert back if it becomes too much.

Got my Xtreme installed a couple weeks ago after hearing your thoughts. Couldn't agree more, literally exactly what I wanted. Loud when you need it and quiet when you don't. Sounds amazing with the windows down especially with cars in the right lane or buildings close by. Sound really bounces off well.

Also huge thanks for helping me out with this decision. I was really nervous about purchasing an exhaust because I hate drone and know I wouldn't be able to return. Corsa Xtreme exceeded my expectations. Thanks!
