Hello, I'm new to the forum and want to be a Raptor owner, but these dealers are charging the cool kid tax with their MSRP mark ups. Does anyone know of a dealer in or near Florida that will sell a new build Raptor at MSRP?

First, welcome to the forum!

You gonna have to do some research and have to be willing to travel possibly! You can find a MSRP deal, but they seem to be rare. Best thing is starting calling dealers and haggle...

Welcome to the forum.

I was mildly interested in a 2017 and checked with Greenway since I'd purchased my 2012 along with 3 GT500's and 2 Focus ST's from them in the past. They wouldn't budge on their $5k ADM. After that, I just decided to keep my Gen1 for another year. I'm not sure what other area dealers are doing, but Greenway doesn't seem to want to come off the ADM. Good luck with your search.

Most are in the $5k range. Mullinax, Sun State, Ron Norris in Titusville, Tropical. Rest are at $10k it seems, Greenway, Bozard. A few months ago in went to Tropical with intent to order and they hit me at $7.5k, came down to $2.5k and wouldnt budge anymore. Im gonna wait for '18s. Good luck in your search!

Key West ford had one at 5k over that the salesman told me they'd let go for MSRP as there is no market there for it.

I started a thread a while back about buying through Costco. I had a friend in Orlando tell me he tried this and got a reply from Mullinax saying they'd sell at MSRP but no additional discount. I still don't know if my friend was just giving me a BS story to make it seem like he could get a better deal than I got on my Raptor or if the info was legit. Everyone who replied in that thread was in a different part of the country and said they couldn't get a car through Costco. Anyway, it doesn't hurt to try.

Interesting from Mullinax.

I know a salesman there, father has dealt with him since the late 80's. A month or so ago he couldn't get the higher ups to drop the 5k ADM.

Maybe now they are more willing?
