Test drove a '10, 6.2L Saturday. Truck had a dead battery and after they jumped it, wouldn't shift on the test drive. Going back tomorrow morning now that a new battery is in the truck and service reps claim it's running normal again. Wish me luck, guess we'll see what happens.

Strange (bad strange) that it wouldn't shift..makes no sense. Check leaking from the bell housing. Some of the 10's and 11's had bad torque converters that leaked. Mine was replaced under warranty. Now all good. If you see any tranny fluid, I would bet its the converter or something way more drastic. If you buy it, I would have them warranty the tranny for 90-120 days parts/labor. Sounds funky.

Truck ran great, shifts perfectly, battery is brand new. I guess the truck was in "limp mode". Working on a deal now, trading in my 09 Cherokee SRT8. Truck is at $37,500 firm, getting $31,500 for my SRT. Deal or no deal for a 2010 with 58,000 miles?

Looks like they're treating you right on your trade. I had an 08' jeep srt8 that I let go for $36K. That was almost 3 years ago too.

Did posts get deleted from this thread? I read it yesterday and there were more posts, unless this is another duplicate thread
