Here are some pictures of my Tuffy in my 2011 SCAB. It's an excellent product, installation is preposterously straightforward, and the every day utility of the thing makes it a top mod.

Recommendation: Buy some of that rubber waffle tool box drawer liner stuff and put it in the bottom of your Tuffy. It keeps the rattles quiet. (Look closely at the first picture.)

how easy is it to remove the rubber mat to clean it? or can you remove it at all?

FreightTerrain, which rubber mat do you mean - the factory rubber mat that comes with the truck, or whatever kind of mat you put inside the box? If the former, I expect you could get it out a LOT easier than you could get it back in under the lock box. I think the smart ticket would be to trim the factory mat so that it butts up against the lock box instead of going under it. If you're talking about an add-in mat that you might put inside the box as I did, removal would simply be a matter of unloading the box.

No, not on my truck. Once you've got the lock box bolted in, the rubber mat is trapped beneath it. Like I said, you'd need to trim the edge of the mat.

well, that sucks, but thats what i figured. i dont really want to cut the mat up. guess i could find smaller mats for either side and sell the factory. decisions, decisions, decisions.

You'd only trim about an inch off the edge of the factory mat. As modifications go, that's a pretty minor one!

Oh, I just thought of something. If you cut the mat so that it would curl upward against the side of the box and lie flat along the rest of its length, you'd only need to make a one-inch slice in it right at the inboard corner of the box. Very minimal impact.

I have the Tuffy and absolutly love it. Lockable lid, metal vs plastic. I didnt experience any supply problems, it came within days, but that was in 2012.
