LoadLifter 5000 Air Spring Kit

Has anyone installed the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 air spring kit on their Raptor Gen 3 for towing? Any feedback? I'm looking to either add one of these kids or possibly a weight distribution hitch, not sure which route is better for towing.

Some people think air bags can replace a WDH. They can't. The WDH is a more complete package that helps balance the actions of the trailer and truck together. The bags simply raise the rear and give your springs more support. If you tow short distances and infrequently, bags are the way to go. If you tow something like a travel trailer and will be on the highway for hours, there's no beating a good WDH setup.

I personally run the 1000 kit because it took Airlift a few years to bring out the 5000. I tow heavy at times, but it's max 50 miles so I manage just fine with bags.

Very good point, for my hauling from Phoenix to SoCal, I should buy a weight distribution hitch. Here are the ones I'm considering
