Early in the process I got a VIN from the dealer. It was the wrong one. They ordered 2 trucks on the same day and used month/year for order number. So when someone looked in the system they gave me the wrong VIN. I was all excited until window sticker appeared for an F350.

Photo, you are the man. Is this limited to 2017 year model or will this work when the 2018 hits in 6-8 months?

BTW, VIN 1FTEX1RG6HFA84549 is exactly what I would order had I opted for a 2017. This program is fun to toy with. Great Job!

Heh, only one other Raptor with the options I chose. Now only if mine would get scheduled...

I don't know why I'm surprised at the limited number of Scabs built. I know the Screw is more sought after, but I still think the Scab looks far better. I'm completely okay with putting 2 kids in car seats and a teen in the backseat of a Scab! I use to sit in the spare tire area of my Dad's '78 Vette when I was 4.

Thank you so much for this Photon! I think this might be a faster way to check on the status of your VIN than contacting Ford or Dealer. Now if only there's a way to categorize the list by dealership.

Unfortunately probably not. As mentioned before the ETIS list seems to update a lot slower than what Ford has access to. It's a good way to find cars on dealer lots or just look at the overall data, but not great for getting very up-to-date info for a specific VIN.

A few weeks ago I built a tool that scanned autotrader.com and cars.com to get a list of Raptor listings. I took the VINs from those listings and looked them up on Ford's ETIS system and then broke down the specs by options. I put all that on a website so people could use it to find a Raptor on a dealer lot with a certain set of specs. After scanning for a few weeks I realized that there's a pattern to the VINs. I looked up how VINs are structured and figured I could scan a certain range of possible VINs in a reasonable amount of time and have a relatively complete list of Raptor VINs. So, I updated my tool to include the full list I scanned.

With this information you can do all sorts of mostly useless things like figure out how many Raptors came with moonroofs, how many were built in February with beadlock wheels, how many were shipped to Kuwait, and more! And as always, if you click the checkbox marked "For Sale" it will limit the results to only VINs that are listed on cars.com and/or autotrader.com. Keep in mind others my be "on sale", but not on those two sites (hint: you can Google VINs to sometimes find the dealer website).

Please note that the only information I have comes from Ford's ETIS system (https://www.etis.ford.com). That system doesn't seem to show build dates that are in the future (only in the past). So, if you were given a build date a month from now it will likely still show as pending. That doesn't mean your build date is wrong, just that I don't have access to it.
