So do you know how the process is for them to apply it? Would you like for the rest of us not to copy it? It is badass but I understand a desire to keep yours unique if you want?

Naw it's all good. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Liked it on my raptor, still like it on other raptors.

Here's my original thread on it:

So it is freezing cold in Dallas and I drove back from Ft Worth with the tailgate down. What's weird now is I went out to close it, and closing it is not as smooth as it used to. Not sure if I should be concerned. I have the Dee zee tailgate assist in there that I've had for a while. Not sure if it's the weather or what but a little concerned now. Any thoughts?

Could be the deezee if the shock has fluid it could be affected. My tailgate is out of alignment by a bit and Brandon at TMX is making me a custom set of bed stabilizers to fix it.

My line-x installer informed me this could happen with a hard to close tailgate. He said the line-x is somewhat compressible in the beginning, and just slamming the bed closed and keeping it closed for long periods over a few days it will fix itself.

I called them back and I was told the rubber stoppers on top of the tailgate are what is keeping it from closing. The change in weather from inside the shop to outside are more than likely what made the difference when they tried it at the shop. He stated that Ford trucks are the ones that they normally see this because their rubber stoppers are so much harder than the others. What do you all think?
