My wheels weren't removed. From what I've seen, nothing has to be removed. They simply mask off areas with what looks like butcher paper and painters tape. If your LineX place doesn't know how to prep a vehicle or charges stupid prices then it's best to find another place if possible.

I paid 80 dollars per side and like vash said, they leave the wheels on and spray it. Came out perfect. Best investment so far in the truck

Can't believe the prices!
I used the power washer on the entire undercarriage and really hit the rear fender wells. Went to Oriley's and bought 2 cans of undercoating for $7 each, pulled the wheels and masked shocks etc.
Was all done in about 2 hours for less than $20.
Makes the truck look MUCH better. And yes, I've been in the nast stuff since and it's holding up just fine.

rock chips will kill the undercoating in a can. ive redone many. $700 is ridiculous for that job. i charge $50 a side on a regular basis when done at the same time as the bedliner. im on the cheap side, but my guys do them all the time. they get them done quick and then on to the next truck. if they spent all day like some shops ive heard, id have to charge $700 as well!

Just got a quote from a northern CO linex dealer and they said they'll do the bed for $450 and the wheel wells for $150
