Ultra is new and not quite at the dealers yet. It looks pretty darn good though!

Ultra is not really new, its been around since at least 2014. Just many dealers have not upgraded to carrying it. I was supposed to have my bed sprayed in it but the ****** Line X shop I used in MD screwed me over.

Well, it's actually been around earlier than that, but hasn't been able to be utilized. But, the custom machine that was being made (by another company) for it has problems which has NOTHING to do with LINE-X or their dealers. So, don't blame it on the LINE-X dealer.

No the dealer offered me Ultra as an option when I booked getting my bed done. When I went to pick it up he only Sprayed it with regular. So it definitely was the POS dealers fault. When you spray someones bed with something other than what they asked you to do its definitely not a machines fault. And I waited around for them to do it so if it was a failure of a machine then it would have been as easy ask telling me and asking me if I wanted something else. Hell I only caught it when he charged me a lower amount than what I was quoted.

Needless to say I gave a bad review to the dealer, had corporate contact me and even filed a notice with BBB about them. Corp said they would make it right and pay to at least have the premium UV coating put on but then when dark and never heard from them again. So I have zero faith in Line X corp when it comes to customer service either now.

Thankfully I have a great dealer near me in FL that I actually trust, but after the dealing with Corp on the POS dealer I am probably not going to get my truck sprayed. I really wanted to get it done in Tan but if I go that route it probably will wind up being Camoliner due to the fact that if I have an issue I don't think Line X corp would actually do anything they say they will.

Ultra is not and never was used by itself for bedliners. It can be used as a topcoat only for truck bedliners. The reason is because Ultra is a rather thin coating, too thin for a truck bedliner. You should have taken the Premium offer, it's good stuff.

Now that I think about it I think it was Platinum that was supposed to be on the Bed and he just sprayed Std, and Ultra was discussed for doing my bumpers and hood vents but after the bed issue I was not doing anything else with him.

Ahh, that's totally different. Platinum is about the best you can get! 750 psi tear strength along with a 203% elongation factor is crazy good.

Yea I was super pissed at the guy when he blew me off when I asked why I was being charged the Std price over the Higher price. That is when I realized not all Line X shops are the same, just wish Corp did not make empty promises to me on getting it fixed.
