Had some Rain-X on hand that I got at christmas so I gave it a try yesterday. I followed the instructions and was not blown away with the results initially. Buffing with a dry cloth did not get the product off the windows to my liking so I ended up spraying water on them and drying with a microfiber. The water beaded nicely when I sprayed them so I'll wait a while to pass judgement and will treat the windows one more time in the future.
RainX on the windshield increases headlight glare at night.
Only use on side and rear windows.

Just tried this on all the glass. Initial thoughts are good user experience, easy wipe on and off. Leaves the glass streak free and super slick and has a nice scent. Longevity will be determined as well as preventing wiper chatter.

I use Invisible Glass and old newspaper. Newspaper adds a polishing effect to the glass. Actually, the ink acts as a very fine polishing compound that fills the microscopic holes in the glass. Filling those little microscopic holes allows the dirt to blow off very easily when driving. This actually keeps the glass cleaner longer. I've used other products, but nothing has worked like Invisible Glass. Also, if you use paper towels, never use the last paper towel on the roll. The last one has a bit of glue on it to make it stick to the roll. That glue smears on the glass.

Where do you buy this product you call “newspaper”.

Drop or two of dawn dish soap and distilled water. Use at least two microfiber towels inside . if the outside is extremely dirty clay first and or polishing compound . If the outside has just normal bugs & dirt the dawn mixture with a little elbow grease or squeegee. The wetter you get it the more dry towels you need .
