What year is your truck? There are two sets of wires and one is powered the other is just a pass-through so is not powered. On the 2018 the set toward the driver side is powered. On 2017 IIRC it is the opposite. It has been discussed on this forum but I only paid attn to 2018 since that is what I have. Do a little research, such as Halogrinder’s ultimate install thread. Obviously you want to connect to the powered upfitter set.

Okay I had no idea , this is his first raptor gen2 I believe and I have a 2019. It’s possible he didn’t know about the 2 sets of wires and I’ve done some research and have had no idea. I’ll look into it and see what I can find to show him. Thanks for the reply

Definitely sounds like you got the wrong wires.

These pictures should help.

Wires in GREEN circle below are for 2017 trucks.

Wires in PURPLE circle below are for 2018+ trucks

Also, most 2018 owners manuals are wrong. 2019 should be correct. But just in case, here’s the 2018/2019 Aux wire colors.

This is not what my 2019 Raptor supplement says. Wires on left are the powered set, it says, and wires on right go to the footwell (pass theough).

The 2018 manuals were printed incorrectly, and Ford just recently sent out an update showing the correct wires. Have you tested the wires on your 2019 to see which set is hot and which set is the pass through?

No, haven’t tested them yet. Will do that this weekend and update here.

My build date was Oct 25, 2018, fairly early in the 2019 production run. Maybe they hadn’t corrected the 2019 print material yet?

Definitely possible! Our shop truck was a very early 2018 build so we were part of the wiring guess game when ours first arrived.

I just did lights on my 2019 and it was the wires closer to the center of the truck that were powered.

It’s pretty simple to use a test light and be sure the wires your going to use are the powered ones!
