I recently got S1s and did a comparison with Squadron Pros. S1s are surprisingly bright in the driving combos ambers. Point the beam down.

I got different lenses for the S1s since I was worried about them being a nuisance. The spots are amazing by the way.

I think you’re still gonna get flashed from time to time. Not sure about when I install my S8.

This. I’ve got the S1s in the pocket with Squadron Pro Combos and Spots towards the center. I bought ORAs bracket and amber lens kit. The S1s do just fine as long as you aim them low and be mindful of their use. I personally love the way they fill out the dim areas that the stock headlights have. My wife loves them because the amber color is less offensive and provides better contrast against wet or snow covered roads.
