I see that in my Gen 1 tail light housings whenever a cold front passes. Any other Gen 1 owners experienced this from time to time?
Gen 1 taillights aren't sealed as much as you'd expect. I've had moisture in mine and get it after a light pressure washing but it always goes away quick. The projector headlights are crazy sealed though.

That's good to hear. My oem projector lights have not had moisture in them.

Some of these gen 2 headlights having moisture in them could likely be in the same year f-150 trucks as well since they share the same headlamp assemblies.

I'm seeing the same BS on my wife's 17 Explorer Sport. Dropping it off at the dealer and making them install new ones
Yeah, I wasn't sure if I should bring it in. I'd hate to have all those lights replaced.

I've got the same thing, according to Gen 2 Discussion group on FB this can be a common issue on the raptors not sure of Gen 1 but the Gen 2 has vents and at times changes in temp and cold fronts can trap the air in there. I had the same problem and noticed it today, asked the good people there and they found in the manual that it could be like that for 48 or so hours and resolve on its own. Called my dealer anyway and he said to call service Monday, so if it doesn't resolve that's what I'll do. I've attached my pictures from today (took delivery 1/13).

Every headlight from any manufacturer has vents to prevent this from occurring. It is not normal. Gen 1's do not have this problem never once have I had it happen on my Raptor in the rain cold or snow. Def take care of it.

Take it in. It's only 3 bolts to take them off easy swap.

You're probably right about this occurrence being abnormal in headlight housings. We've witnessed enough of a sample size of gen 2 owners having the same issue, which leads me to deduct this is more so a design flaw of the housings rather than a one off lemon or defect.

If my deduction is true, then even if they get replaced under warranty, wouldn't it be just a matter of time before the moisture occurred again?

This reminds me of the gen 1 third brake light housing that was extremely susceptible to moisture penetration. I heard and read that Ford improved the gaskets but they still allowed moisture to get in over time.

Then again, the headlight assembly is far more critical than the LED third brakelight, so perhaps Ford will improve the design completely and replace the original defective ones under warranty.

It would really depend. If it was a design flaw every Gen 2 owner would see it.

Interesting. I'll accept that for the headlights but I do have droplets on my two rear accent lights.
