All you Gen 1 guys regularly getting condensation likely have cracked housings. I bought my 13 used and one light was permanently fogged in areas, and the other would do it at the car wash, cold fronts, etc.
I ordered new lights, and when I took out the old ones both were cracked from the previous owner over tightening the mounting screws. One was cracked worse than the other. I'm guessing the PO tried LEDs and then took them out after getting hyperflash. They probably overtighented the screws both times they touched them. I was careful to not overtighten the new ones and have never had any condensation since. It's been cold/warm/damp/rain plenty of times since then too.
Also, the Gen 1 lights are not 100% sealed, they have vent holes with a Goretex type tape over them. Gen 2 are likely the same. They have to be able to vent pressure differences.
