I finally got some decent pictures of my lighting setup and thought I would share. They have been great so far and definitely walk the walk in terms of output. By far the best thing about them is that you can change the beam pattern with a spin of the housing. Genius! I would have played with them a bit more but the bugs were so bad that I had to run around in circles waiting for the next shot. :ROFLJest: These images have not been changed in any way and the camera is in manual mode so all shots are exposed exactly the same. The pictures don't even really do them justice...

Looks great! I used to have a set of the 240s before they were available in HID and even they were super bright. I loved them but ended up selling the truck. Now that I just got my Raptor, I'm trying to figure out what bumper I want to do and that will dictate my choice of lighting, but I'd really like to get a set of 4 of the 240 HIDs like your set up.

Do you have any of the filters for the lights? If not, I'd go get a set to play around with for the hell of it since they are pretty cheap. I had a set of the blues and they were great in the winter and even rain. But it was also pretty fun to turn them on in the city and have cars and even a city bus pull over because they thought it was a LEO :ROFLJest: It wasn't as fun though when I got pulled over by a LEO for them.

No need for the Blue filters any more...
The HIDs are plenty blue on their own. :waytogo: Especially since they start out very blue and turn more white as they warm up. I hear yellow is the way to go in dust so I will probably pick up a set of those before the Texas Raptor Run. I also might try the flood ish filter for the outer set for the hell of it. Another member said that they didn't do much for the pair he had on his truck though...

I think Mic has me beat for sure! I mean I do ONLY have 4 lights... :baby:

Wow, those are awesome!

Where does one get the color filters you speak of? I'd also like to make the driving lights yellow for the Texas Run.
