Hello everyone , I’m a new member , just bought 14 raptor SVT , the car is currently in the garage for normal service before I start using it . Planning to level it / lift it , not decided yet .
I would like to see some setup you have with details of lift / level kit , wheel make , size and offset and will be great if you have a picture of the stance

thanks again p

There are very few raptors out there that are lifted in the traditional sense, most of us are taller than stock but primarily due to adjustable coil overs in the front and higher count progressive leaf springs in the rear to accommodate larger tires which together do end up making the truck taller but I don't recall ever seeing a raptor that has been lifted 6" by BDS or SkyJacker or anything. There was a thread on here recently called "gen 1 reversing lift kit" that had some pictures of one that was purchased with a 4" lift.

What are your intentions for the truck? Is it going to be just for show or are you trying to run in hard in the dunes?

I like lifted trucks, not an off-roader . I just sold my 18 Sierra with 4 inch lift kit and currently have 15 f150 lariat 3.5 ecoboost since new , recrntly leveled with 35 tires on 17 wheels . I really wanted a gen 1 raptor so I bought one with 110000 Km ( I live in the Middle East ) , I know that you can put larger tires but this will never give the out of fender wheels poke stance ( I don’t like wheel spacers so was thing of the 4.5 rc lift kit ) saw some YouTube videos and the stance is what im looking for .

That stance is very similar to my '10, I have Fox 3.0's all the way around, deaver +2's in the rear on 37" BFG KO2s mounted on 0 offset Method Roosts with fiberglass fenders up front that are 2" taller and 2" wider.20201010_115937.jpg

I like the stance of your truck , the 37” are causing any performance issue ? the reason I’m asking , my 18 Sierra had 35” and I can feel noticeable degradation in acceleration ( I don’t care about the fuel economy ) , that car has the 5.3 engine .

a RC lift kit by itself wont push your tires out. if you went with a long travel kit then yes but it seems what you are looking for is a wheel with the appropriate offset. depending on tire size you want to run and how much you want to tires to stick out youll need the lift kit or new fenders to make it work. the gen1 pic you posted looks to have +2 front fenders and a -25mm offset wheel or possible lt kit up front.

personally i would advise strongly against a traditional lift kit. these kits require cutting and overall weaken the truck and lower the performance. to each their own and based on your location a lot of the mods i would recommend are going to cost likely to much to get shipped

Very true , what about a max / mid perch , off road bumper , negative offset wheels and 37 tires . If I’m not mistaken there will be no rubbing and the performance should be fine

yes this is a much better option and honestly a bit cheaper to do. mid perch will fit 37s as long as you dont jump it. youll need to cut and hammer you pinch welds.
