Self tapping screws? I how your state doesn't charge to replace lost plates. That's not going to hold for long.

Like I said I used the same factory screws. If the screws I used didn't work I guess the plates would be falling off all our trucks :)

I'm installing the front plate bracket today and the kit I got with the truck came with 2 rivets that secure the bracket.

Edit- Crash457 beat me to it!

I am going to try some HD all-weather Velcro all the way around the plate back, in the same spot, to see how I like the look before drilling; it should hold well anyway cause the plate on its own is light.

And when I have used the quality weather Velcro in the past, it has held many a thing outside in all kinds of conditions, so it might be a semi-permanent solution too.

And I personally like the Ops placement MUCH better than the stock location BTW...
