I think I have shown great restraint in not locking this thread based on the title line alone and considering I love Raptors.

No vehicle or manufacturer is perfect; however, no one can deny that the Ford Raptor created a whole new niche in the pick-up market. Several others have tried to copy and none are better. I have traveled and off-roaded all over the US and my Raptors have given me countless memories and great times that I will never forget. No other vehicle I've had has done the same and I've had a bunch.

I purchased a Leadfoot Grey 2018 in May of 2018 and had no issues whatsoever perhaps I was one of the lucky ones, with no issues or cam phaser problems however I always believed in preventative maintenance and proper care for the vehicle. Fast forward 2025, I have since sold it (only 41k miles) for the Raptor R of which is simply the best Raptor going, that Coyote v8 is what was needed to make this truck a performance beast, now Whipple has the Supercharger mod out which brings this truck up to 975hp.

Did they use fresh clean oil on the hand? I hate it when they cheap out and use what they just drained.
