And even with a tune there is still turbo lag. Just like a 1990's automatic Mustang or Camaro, press the gas pedal and wait a few seconds before you start moving!
Disagree completely. My stage 2 Goosetune has made the truck run like a ***** ape (how do we know what a ***** ape runs like btw?) with no turbo lag at all. I’ll concede that a stock Raptor has some lag.

The dream to me would be a Gen3 with the Gen1 6.2L V8…I don’t want a supercharged Godzilla T-Rx killer with 5MPG. Just want a good ol n/a V8 in a new truck. And then I’d only have to spend $95k and feel better about selling my house for the truck.
So you want a V8 with the same weight and fuel economy of the Predator engine, but with half the horsepower. That makes absolutely no sense.

Oh it makes all the sense in the world...... ppl don’t mind having a lesser truck in the name of sound! You have been her much much longer than I have, you know how dependent truck buyers are on sound

I think the point is that I think these offroad truck loaded with lane keeping, adaptive cruise, etc is a joke, and I laugh at you guys.

The Raptor demographic is the type that literally brags how expensive their truck is, they take pride in it.

Just look at how butt hurt you are at someone bragging how cheap they got theirs. So many of you would froth at the mouth at a 6 figure raptor, simply for bragging rights.

Your $100k raptor will be great towing your boat on pavement up to tahoe , just what it was made for.

that's my point.
So here’s my question to you, and I‘m not arguing with you or challenging you. But I notice you bought wheels for your Raptor. It’s in your avatar. So tell us, if you will, how much in aftermarket items did you put in your base Raptor?

I find that most people who buy base to “save” money, or because, they say, it’s exactly what they want and nothing more, wind up spending another ten grand or so on add-ons.

Oh, and what’s wrong with adaptive cruise? Ever look down at the radio for a brief moment and have traffic stop in front of you? Adaptive cruise is both a safety feature and a feature that allows a bit of relaxation on long highway drives.

I’ll never buy another truck without adaptive cruise. 100% a safety feature on two lane highways (there are a lot of these in my area).
