Let’s be honest- The Raptor R is going to be expensive!

The funny thing is I was in the auto industry for over 25 years and I used to own a car dealership that sold high-end cars. So my knowledge of cars is very extensive, just not Ferrari's. I guess they were above my pay grade. Lol
My hats off to you for your extensive knowledge on Ferrari automobiles and more power to you if you have a few sitting in your garage.
Now back on subject. Will you be buying a Raptor R and what price would you be willing to pay for it ? Personally going with a 21 Raptor with 37 package. But who knows, by the time they come out I might be ready to upgrade. My best guess is they'll start in the $90k range and end up over $100k for a fully loaded version.
Raptor R will be out of my league for reasons

1. I think allocations are going to play a bigger factor than price point. I feel like you will have to be will connected to get the chance at one.

2. Overall price, while I would have no problems paying for @100k for it I feel like you won’t be able to have this truck out the door for anything less than 120-150k and I’m not willing to spend that on a truck. I’m more of a luxury car guy.

3. I feel like this truck will be more about matching the on road performance of the TRX vs off road performance . For my use of the Raptor I would rather spend 50k at H&M or SVC doing a full 16in+ travel suspension kit. I value that more than a V8

They are simply sticking a blower on a Coyote. A lightly modified version of an engine they already install in F150s by the tens of thousands. They just need to find some weak points and address them.
This isn’t some hack job Roush add on kit.

The entire engine was redesigned for the GT500; that’s hundreds of thousands of dollars in engineering cost and thousands of hours in development and testing. The new block has additional structural ribbing with head bolts that thread deeper into the block to handle the increased cylinder pressures. The rotating assembly is all new, and both the cooling and oiling systems were also redesigned for additional volume.

In the case of the Raptor R, the engine may need further design changes for the application. Not only does it need to be able to handle the weight and aerodynamics of the truck at maximum power output, but it needs to be able to tow 8,000lbs up Davis Dam as well. That's not something you get by slapping a “$2k supercharger kit” on a “lightly modified” Coyote. Just like slapping an aftermarket supercharger on a 6.2. Your understanding of engineering and manufacturing costs and requirements seem to be very limited.
