I have left the sunroof open on several of my vehicles over the years and I always used a Dehumidifier closed up inside and it always got all the moisture out without any smell or issues..

File your claim with your insurance and they will most likely total the car. There is a reason they do this and one big problem is not going to happen today or tomorrow but in a few years your truck will become a nightmare of electrical problems that will never go away. I would not hesitate at this point and let them do there thing and if its totaled let it go. Its going to go on to car fax as severe water damage and from that point forward nobody is going to want to get stuck with that truck....

That is definitely a possibility as well.

At this point I have the truck dry with no damage that I can see anywhere, accept the head unit. I pulled the carpet/pad same day and the seats. I dried everything. I shined it up and the truck looks brand new.

I couldnt leave the water in the floor board over the weekend, I just couldnt leave everything wet. The good shops were all closed and I wasnt going to let it sit till Monday. There would have been damage at that point. I highly doubt my truck would get totaled by Ins anyway. We shall see. I dont think anything will fail as a result of the water going forward in the future. Maybe the heated seats. I was able to extract all water from the truck.

I dont think anyone would ever know at this point. No smell, no seeable damage. Just the head unit touch screen. Radio/Bluetooth and everything work. When I found the truck wet I shouldnt have started it and played the radio. I should have dried it first. That was my mistake.

The car fax is a concern. If I use my claim and get a head unit I will install it myself. I would be tickled if they totaled it, but Im not that lucky. The truck looks brand new and an adjuster will never think to total it.

I havent heard from the adjuster yet.

I believe the screen is separate from the head unit.

Screen is different than head unit? Can you elaborate? The touch screen is a stand alone piece and not part of the Nav and Radio combo? Anyone have a part number?

To answer the other guys question about a garage "Yes I have a garage. I cant park in it. The garage is like 218 inches deep. The truck is longer than the garage. It sticks out past the door.
