hi all, i am having a bit of a issue with the install of some led switchback lights for my front turn signal/parking bowls.... when i install the led's with a new socket, these are white switcbacks that flash amber. when they are installed they will light up white for a milli second then stay off. when i use the turn indicator or the hazard lights they light and flash amber like they are supposed to.

i tried a second set of the same type of lights and they did the same thing. neither set i tried hyper or fast flashes. so i just take them out and put in the stock ambers and everything is fine. the builbs arent broiken as these lights when bench tested work as they are supposed to.

i just recieved another set from JDMtoy and these came without the socket and are to beinstalled into the socket of the existing stock amber bulbs. these also came with a 50w 60 ohm load resistor. i thought a load resistor will only address hyper/fast flashing. before i get back under the truck tomorrow and start splicing , anyone have any experience and or thoughts what could be the problem.

So you need t resistor for the yellow flasher and the white light so total of 4 resistors ?

two per light?

one per led bulb or one per headlight , this corrected the problem i had, very happy with the LED's and they give off a bunch of white light to boot

Hell yeah! Nothing wrong with that! Lol. I already installed the switchbacks, and they work great. I am just wanting t0 install the 50W resistor, and i dont know what 2 wires the resistor has to go to. If someone know, that would help me alot. Thanks
