Which one did you buy exactly? Cause I have the

921 LED Bulb - 12 Wide Angle LED Mini Wedge Base which is better then stock but is more for looks to be honest. Im guessing you got the 194 LED Bulb - 15 SMD LED Wedge Base Tower probably in the cool white?

Guys AMB Lighting is who you want to contact. They are the ones who have all the LED's that fit in stock locations.

Am also interested in improved reverse lights, without installing additional lights in bumper such as Rigid leds. Don't know about Putco's but from recent thread "Back up lights" I believe Nick used -194 25 smt tower bulb- from Superlumination.com. I wrote superlumination and asked what they would recommend to give most light for the Raptor and response was...

For a back up light with a large housing and reflectors, I would look at the 921 12 watt cree:

Not having taken taillight apart, I asked what would fit in Raptor's, the answer...

The 12 watt dimensions are: 14mm diameter x 53 mm overall

The 5 watt dimensions are: 15mm diameter x 46 mm overall

The 194 smt Tower III is 11mm diameter x 38mm

The dimensions of a stock 906 bulb are:
m.o.l.: 1.49 inch (37.8MM)
l.c.l.: 0.811 inch (20.6MM)

So fitment Q not really answered. The 12W cree sounds promising but at $25 each, I want sure these fit before ordering. They are 15mm longer than the 194 Tower. Just by eyeballing the current bulb in the housing, it looks like the 12Wcree would be a tight fit. The pics above from Patsraptor looks to throw out way more light than stock. Didn't think replacing a bulb would be this involved. Trying to decide which way to go....

I have Cree reverse bulbs in my truck that I got from retro solutions. They are a tight fit thru the hole (that's what she said) but they do fit and do work very well.

I'm not a 100% sure but I think you're right in what I have it's been so long haha ill get a pic I the bulb in the housing from the front and side so you guys can see how it fits. There is a lot of room in the housing from the end of the bulb to the lens

My bulb has 9 LED's I think that's the biggest you can go it slid in the housing with barely enough space in the hole to slid it through ( that's why she said) haha an yea it's the super white with a 35 degree angle I believe.

Yea those would work but I'm not a fan of the led on the sides granted you have a reflector housing and it'll reflect the light out but I prefer the LEDs to point straight back but either way works.
