sorry for digging up this old one, but thought it would be better than adding a new thread. cant see shit backing outa my driveway in the morning since the window tint. anyone have any more opinions on the reverse bulb replacement options discussed here?

Window tint is a killer. I have the 25 watt bulbs but it is not enough with tint. I also need to figure out *********** the auto dim mirrors.

with my flush mount rigids in the rear bumper, the 15% tint layered over the factory tint is nearly pitch black, but I can see perfectly fine backing up through it with the rigid LEDs in the bumper. For ~$200 they were a great mod! I also have the LEDs in the taillights, but they were more for appearance. They did improve a lot over stock, but didn't help with tint. Worth the money for those so it looks nicer, but bumper LEDs are the solution.

On rainy nights...with tinted windows, I find it difficult with aging eyes to see behind and into my blinds spots. I think the auto dim mirrors should have a switch option like most other vehicles.
