Led headlight bulb?

I'll tell ya one thing. I'm driving a rental 2017 F250 right now and HOLY CRAP did I forget how BAD the stock headlights are. I can't see a thing on the road. I really miss my F150 (it's in the shop getting a Procharger put in *grin*)

FYI, we have a line of SAE/DOT approved fog lights coming out for Mr. negative nancy over there. For 2007+ trucks and the super duties. Maybe Jeeps also

Look if you want to pay $150 to run illegal headlights, go right ahead. And then smile joyfully when you get cited or somebody figures out where you live and breaks your headlights for you.

If someone comes and breaks my headlights I can always call a reserve Sherriffs officer like you or Dwight to report the crime.

Thanks Black but we already metered them You can order a set, play with em and then return em and I'll refund ya... that way I'm not out some lights if you disapear on me.. i'd be down for that. But I have a shop full of light reading gadgets/gizmos... got new measurement backdrops coming in soon also

Sure you metered them (?) .. but many here don't seem to buy your claims. I'm not paying you $150 to do $2000 in free testing for you.

Like I said earlier... Was just trying to help you and do you a favor. Kind of insulting to me to be honest. Services from my department aren't cheap. Clearly we operate in different orbits- I deal with people who really value our services and would jump at the opportunity to have our assistance.

Well you said you worked for a TV station... when we talked via PM I thought you were talking about just reviewing them and taking photos in your studio...

Yesterday I asked, " I don't see any indication on your web site that these LEDs are non-DOT compliant. Did I miss something?" I might have missed something, so I asked. Didn't get an answer, so I double-checked. Sure enough, the product descriptions say nothing about the product not being DOT compliant.

The uninformed consumer (that is, the millions who have not read this thread) will likely make the assumption that these LED headlight replacements are street legal, orders them, and the vendor takes their money. Truth in advertising this is not. There is no mention of the vendor's claimed 100% money back guarantee, either. Only a 2 year warranty against defects is mentioned. Second letter going to the Fair Trade Commission.

Hey we didn't mention what color the box it in, what if we offend people who don't like black boxes? And our instructions are not in spanish but we didn't list that on our site.

Also, lights can cause people with epilepsy to have seizures, but we didn't list that on our site... should we do that also?
