so is blue going to take his newfound knowledge of relays and do some more lighting mods?

He has a bunch of lighting mods in the works... But I can't comment on the relays. Although, they did put some crazy big relay thingy in when they wired his winch last weekend. He'll write it up eventually I think :lol2:

This is what I use

Truck Bed Lights | Access Truck Bed LED Light

It's about 12" long and only goes on one side but produces more than enough light unless the bed is fully loaded. It comes with a switch built in and I ran a power from the battery because the 12v wire on the 7-way is only comes on when the key is on. Works fine for me and cheap at 40$. Quality seems to be fine and I leave my access cover rolled up most of the time so it has been exposed to the elements for about 3-4 months and still works just like new.

since this was for ambient lighting, and not full lighting, i dont think what you used would work in this situation. the blue lights installed are just to accent the blue truck

Got the lights today, they look pretty good. Probably won't wire them up for a bit though, but they will be wired to an aux switch
