well seeing as how its only on the 2018, it wont be saturated in the market thats actually relevant to its resale. 10 years from now my lead foot will look mint underneath its xpel stealth.

I see countless European and Japanese hatchbacks in primer gray every day. It is definitely the hot color of the year. Unfortunately what is really cool (ex mullets and gold chains) eventually becomes uncool and cheesy at some point.

I just looked out my office window... it is a lot darker than primer grey, but let's continue on with that.

Perfect for me. I like being unique

To date only Avalanche Grey is unique among Raptor colors. GT350 and Focus RS are the only other vehicles which could be ordered in AG. Leadfoot could be ordered on ANY F150, not Raptors exclusively.

I wonder how popular Ford's Lime Squeeze Metallic is doing in the resale market. Probably just as popular as the day it came out.

Boring, traditional colors stand the test of time. Cool new colors don't. Non-metalic grays are trendy now, which means they will most likely look dated in a few years.

I see a lot of similarities between that green that was never popular with anyone and a dark gray with no shiny sparkles in it. You know what's more boring than gray with pretty sparklies in it? Gray without them. You know Porsche has been doing non-metallic paints for decades? Standing the test of time.

I haven't bought a new car with metal flake in 6-7 years. Probably 20 cars in that span.

Attached is a primer gray car that pulled out in front of me today. Notice how much lighter it is than the hood of my truck.

Went to my local dealer and pulled the trigger today - ordered my Leadfoot before it’s only a memory. It seems easier to change out the shocks down the road than repaint the truck.

Congrats, hope you confirmed your dealer has an allocation for your order? Just saw a brand new LF recently and it looks great, good contrast with the trim bits!!

I like it so much I might consider it on my ford GTf77f8a880cef39ce9162a9418efc1449.jpg

Believe whatever you want, but Ford has so much confidence in LeadFoot they made it a one-hit-wonder.

Last year at this time there were tons of posts from people so glad they got Avalanche instead of the new LeadFoot. Funny thing is this year no one is talking about Avalanche anymore. Seems it lost its appeal already.

And no doubt this time next year LF will be forgotten and all the posts will be about how glad people are they got Velocity Blue instead of whatever 2020's one-off color is.

LeadFoot is just another Raptor one-off and joins the list of Avalanche, Terrain, and Molten Orange.
