SW uses Random Tech cats for starters, they do not make their own cats like you mentioned - and RT is one of the best catalytic converter makers in the business

I thought JDM was a good shop?

Ok but the RT cats have been causing CEL's for almost everyone so far, and the Green cats from Kooks have not. So that was my concern and argument. I've had a number of the RT cats blow out or clog in exhaust systems on Supercharged Mustang, GT500, and 6.2L Raptor applications.

We are a pretty damn good shop if I must say myself!

Actually we haven't developed our Ecoboost Raptor tuning yet! We are late to the game but working on it!! The truck has stock tuning....

And if your referring to the cars we've seen issues with above we've never had that problem with Kooks GREEN cats. Actually I see it happen all the time with other major brand tooners as well but never with the GREEN cats and their's either.

As of today 500 miles NO CEL KOOKS FTW!

Kooks on my Borla stype made my truck literally undrivable. It's horrible sounds like absolute trash and getting worse. If the resonators they sent don't help I'll be making some fast changes.

do you have your stock exhaust. I know you are worried about restrictions but I would say that it has to be much better.

I have been watching videos and it seems like with just DP's its got that same aggressive Borla S sound without the crazy raspy thing we hate.

If I was in your shoes (keep in mind I had Borla S) - I would remove the xpipe and start there. Add back your stock resonator.

If that doesn't work - I have considered going with the full Ford Touring Exhaust and call it a day. I don't believe we can get to the no restriction and awesome sound.

From your videos you really liked how the Borla S sounded anyways...Before you get too involved maybe go back to just that and put on that intake you and I have been waiting for since May (when AFE actually sends it).

Put the stock exhaust on, I have DP with cats and stock and it sounds fine.

I am removing the xpipe and putting resonators on. Let's see what happens.
