It is not, although it has never died on me. It's a cheap Motorola phone that I have set up.
Edit:. I may have misunderstood your question- the hotspot is setup (Tasker) so that if the truck is not in my garage, the phone's hotspot turns on and remains on even when the truck is off/parked. It is plugged into USB port in center console and charges when the truck is running. Primary use for hotspot is internet connection for dash camera while parked. WiFi switch is connected and horns are available for remote honk even while parked/off.

I need to look into something like this, I have an old phone I could use for it, just need build/obtain the tasker part.

Tasker is not terribly intuitive, but the way I have mine setup is straight forward. Only issue is that some phones will not let Tasker control the wifi hotspot, in which case you would need to root and it becomes more involved. Motorola e5 Play is what I'm using and Tasker has access to hotspot control without root.

@SlickMachine Are those horns pointed so the opening is facing the front of the truck? If so, has Kleinn mentioned anything regarding mud, other road debris getting in there and what the impact would be? Did you happen to post a straight on side view of all the hardware you added? I’m trying to get a better idea of how visible everything is.

Thanks for the post!
Snowed yesterday here in Denver, drove for the first time with the horns installed in the snow/crud: Yes they do collect crap from the road. The rear horn had a good amount of snow packed in and around it. I called kleinn to ask this question- guy on the phone said that they are meant to take debris. Stainless diaphram inside the base. He said that if they sound off, there is likely debris in there and to unscrew the trumpets and just clean them out. Most of the time, honking them should clear it out.

Personally, I would just make a custom small sheet metal guard to protect them from debris, just mount a shield plate far enough in front of the horns that it wouldn't dampen the sound and angle it to block flying debris. same with the air tank on the other side, just a bit of extra protection from flying rocks

I'm thinking some stainless mesh to go over the trumpets.

well, finally got my 730 kit installed:

horn 3.jpeg horn.jpeg horn2.jpeg

My comments on the kit after installing it would be that it was really well made. The fitment and alignment of everything was nearly perfect especially for an aftermarket product. I would highly recommend the Kleinn air horns to anyone that wants a louder horn or even just a nice onboard air system!

I decided to hide my onboard air chuck under my step board support beam. I think this will be an easy enough location to access as well as offer some level of debris protection from the rib of the beam.

Install time took about 6 hours, and was easy enough that nearly anyone could do it.

The sound of these horns is insane, absolutely no practical reason to have horns this loud, but who cares because I love it. Oh and cell phone videos don't do them justice so I wont even post one, you have to hear them in person to really appreciate how loud they are.
