King Shock Anodization Stripped?!

Any idea what could have caused this? No visible brake fluid leaks. Truck was washed the day before I saw it.

Probably an aggressive degreaser. Definitely looks like fluid drips.

The Royal Purple degreaser will strip anodizing in a heartbeat…AMHIK.

Someone was paid to detail it and didn't (or couldn't) read the label. That's my guess.

That'll definitely strip anodizing. Is the battery sulfating and leaking?

File a claim with the battery manufacturer. They are on the hook for everything south of that battery..... look around REAL good for any other damage.

Lol, no they're not. Every product warranty leaves the manufacturer liable for only their part that failed, not anything else it may have damaged.

Like if you put a piston in an engine, the piston fails, and destroy the entire engine. The piston manufacturer will (maybe) send you a new piston kit. And thats it.
