Indeed... But it's allowed me to gather some goodies for the truck, so all in all not too bad... Planning on a install party at one of the forum buddies place, lemme know if your interested in swinging by... Lots of stuff to install and watch lol

If you don't have time to make you strike pads SDHQ sells the ones you need that run inside the leaf springs. Just an FYI!

I believe he said he was going to "plate" each side of he chassis where he added the bump-stop. Similar to what a bolt on bump-stop kit accomplishes.

One would think plating / supporting / strengthening the chassis this way would eliminate any weakness in this area...

Ah, I didn't catch the plate on each side. I'm still apprehensive about it, but it sounds like all necessary steps were taken to combat any loss in rigidity.
