Just the placement of the bump stop because someone was giving me a lecture on force by fulcrum.
Not everything is a lecture my friend... you posted up your project on a public forum, which in itself opens you up to opinions and feedback.

Simply sharing feedback from my experiences over the years on these trucks.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Moving on now.

No hurt feelings just justifying my reasons for the placement. I am easy going and i am willing to accept when i mess things up. If this sucks ill just cut the back of the truck off and do something different. I appreciate all of your comments I guess i worded my response wrong sorry for the mix up.

Still trying to find a cab and doors for a good price. The links and shocks have been ordered. So once we get a cab they will cut mine apart and start.

Am I missing something- would you really want to cut a huge hole in the frame? Especially where the is a hole in the side already? That frame looks like Swiss cheese where the bump stop hole is. Also welding there should also cause weakness.

I am not an engineer , but just thinking out loud here...

If I was going to install a bump kit this way I would definitely add strengthening along the sides of the frame where you guys drilled the holes.
Ah so you ran the tube all teh way down to the bottom of the frame, welde it in and added side strengthening to the sides?
