Where are you guys storing your kinetic rope? It's something I want to keep in the truck 24/7 because I've never been stuck "when I planned for it". I also pull more people out of snowbanks than anything else. The rope is bulky and doesn't really fit well anywhere. I'm thinking about trying to clamping it to the underside of my tonneau cover with a couple of large quick fists but I'm not thrilled about using self tappers into the supports.

What are you guys doing?

I store mine in a tote that is ratchet strapped down in the bed. I’ve noticed if the lid has been closed for a while and I crack the lid open I get a strong odor that hangs around for a while.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'm looking for a solution outside of throwing it in the bed. I can easily throw it in a bin but I find that when you need the bed space, you end up leaving the rope at home. I was looking for maybe something along the lines of wrapping it around some sort of mount on the bedside, ext.

was about to say the same thing. Yeah, you'd have to take it out of the "recovery bag" but you could then store the straps behind the metal braces under the back seats.

I have a plastic storage container in the bed with most of my recovery equipment in there, have it strapped down to the front of the bed with a ratchet strap. Also have a pair of Max Trax wedged between the front of the bed and the container.

I have a 30’ 1” Kinetic rope with 2 soft and 2 hard shackles that I store in an ICON tool bag that fits under the rear seat with no problem. I also have a tow rope behind the seat. I carry these along with a craftsman tool bag with tools under the rear seat as well 24/7. You never know when you need this but would rather have it always then be stuck without. Rope has been behind my seat for 6 years, no issues.
