Kinda confused

Ok I will lay it out. I've had a raptor for a while I think it was one of the first ones out here by me. LA. I have 2 kids that are young. I'm torn between tuneing or up grading to the 2011 based on rear room. Kinda what I'm thinking Is does anyone feel that the smaller engine is just fine. I come from having some fast cars. I also race shifter karts which are dam quick. I'm a die hard raptor guy so I know I will always have one. To be honest I have never had any problems with my truck which has 18k on it. But wow the 2011 look good.

If i was thinking about upgrading mine now I would wait for the 2012. If I had anyone the road in the back all the time I would get a crew cab.

I love my 5.4 dont get rid of it unless your wanting the screw. The 5.4 has been around for a long time now so you know its a tough motor, not saying the 6.2 isn't.

i would wait for a 2012 at this point 5.4 or not. you've got a solid truck there get some use out of it!

I have the 2011 Crew. I love it. I rarely hit the gas hard...but every time I do I get a smile.

My kids are blown away by all the room in back...and I love the option of driving 4 adult friends anywhere we may want to go.

For the amount I'm offroad, I don't think the bigger truck impacts me at all.

I agree with trolls and BIRD on waiting for the 2012 if your going to switch.
I love my 5.4 and with the 5star x3 tuner I just got, it made it just that much better, but if you need and want the extra room go for the screw but wait for the 2012.
As for MAD MAN there lol I just like using that smile now.

Thanks a lot everyone. Cause it's all off been thinking about for the last month. I'm gunn a hold out till the 2012 comes out. I guess I could order one instead of showing up on the lot and paying top dollar. So this leaves me with the option of mod the 5.4. I spoke with my friend who owns a motor cross and truck team and he is going to get me the 35 general tire set. I set the front end up to the middle position yesterday. The drive is much better. A lot less understeer. I think I might get front light bar and reprogram. Hay thanks again everyone. Any thought would be great.

off the main topic why does everyone say wait for 2012 raptors out. Does anyone know what they will have exactly? The ecoboost is a great engine and its def fun to drive only downside to having twin turbo engine it the taurus shows don't have the ***** guage installed I don't think the f-150's do either. Has anyone heard if the ecoboost will be in the 2012 for sure or still just rumor.
