I don't know if this would go here but my question is in regards to keyless entry... I have a 2010 with the key and keyless entry remote separate... On my wife's 2011 explorer has the key and keyless entry all in one key combo... Question is, is it possible to get a 2011+ keyless entry key re cut and programmed for a 2010? May seem like a "wtf would u want that?!" kinda response but you'd be surprised how convenient it would be...

Call Ford and see, let us know what they say. I know the just the fob on my wifes CTS was like 150 for a new one, so I imagine this one would be pricey.

Yes it has been done before. I cannot recall where the thread is but if you keep searching it'll come up.

i dont think so, but you should check with the dealer

Warning-thread jack in progress....

Really? Half the dealers dont know a Raptor exists. Mine has been at the dealer for 3 weeks because Ford can't figure out exactly what seat module they need. Apparently the parts catalogs are wrong. They (Ford- not the dealer) thought I installed the memory seats.

We now return to the scheduled topic......

^ true statement, if it wasn't my buddy and all I wouldn't waste my time with the dealership, but he said it can be done ts just whether or not the convenience is worth the money to do it...

There should be no issue; the new keys just have the remote in the key head.
But I would suggest going on e-bay and get a folding key with remote.
